Repair don't replace
I pulled into my parking area and cut the corner too close kissing the base of a tree and bending the right side of the front axle on my three axle trailer. Just slightly but it was enough to need replacing. This is the 2nd time I have done the same thing in a year, but this time it bend at the knuckle not the tube so after I replaced the axle I decided to order this replacement knuckle. Cutting off the old one is easy, just keep grinding at the weld until you find the tubes edge then cut it off with an angle grinder with a cutting wheel. Line up the new knuckle then I welded with DC pos with low hydrogen rods instead of my mig to make sure I got to the root. Ready for the next time.
